Your perspective as a high-end European seller who does a lot of business in the U.S. via eBay is really helpful to have in this conversation. Thanks!

You may be missing the point, I am American as far as inventory and eBay goes. I use two different accounts with the same listings replicated and my Worldwide sales are twice as many as my local US only sales.
International people cannot see my US listings on eBay.com at all, because the eBay Vault AND the Global Shipping Program hides those above $2,500.

I understand what you’re saying.

Any updates yet on when PSA will take over the Vault or is it still sometime by the end of this quarter?
Nah. I’m positive you will get an email from PSA and eBay once it’s done celebrating all the “synergies”.
I don’t currently have anything in the vault. I’m currently trying to decide if it’s worth sending a few things into the vault now to try and sell a few things. My one hang up is wether or not I would still get free withdrawal fees if I were to do that before PSA took over and would I have enough time to make a withdrawal.
Feels reckless so I’m leaning towards not doing it.
I wouldn’t be too concerned with that. You might be cutting the selling time short but I’d highly doubt that you’d get stuck paying a withdrawal fee even if it’s in transit there and not even listed yet.
there is probably at least still a few months left i imagine. i think the merger is going down this quarter, and then they prob would still take some time to actually integrate it and get it up and running. and who knows they might completely change this whole thing if there is enough backlash
Has anybody else submitted last second cards to the vault? I have some sports cards but it says “At this time, only trading carda are eligible, so remove any other items from your submission”. Sports cards are trading cards right or am i wrong?
i sub stuff every 2 weeks or so. all trading cards that seems kinda weird they are not taking sports tho
PSA and BGS sports cards.
That’s definitely odd to exclude all non-tcg. Never had issues in the past but no recent sports orders for me so not sure. Maybe a big vault user can step in

eBay vault has three categories: Sports Trading Cards, Non-Sport Trading Cards (e.g., Garbage Pail Kids), and Collectible Card Games (e.g., Pokemon, MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh). @amcgl58 you might want to reach out directly to eBay to discuss this bug. I haven’t seen any policy change about accepting sports cards.
I thought there would be an announcemet too but sports cards are technically trading cards though, right? It would be odd that if they were no longer accepting sports cards, that the sports cards category would no longer be able to be selected. This doesn’t really instil alot of confidence in the vault for me lol.

Hmm my vaulted items don’t have a sell option at all right now. Wonder if it’s rolling out in waves
