I’ve had sellers fight tooth and nail to have me not return a creased card that was described as “NM”. They will try everything from claiming thats not the card they sent to the pictures did show the creases. Spoiler, they never do. Or just try to claim im trying to scam them. Some of them are desperate to keep the money I paid which is way more than the cards worth. The moment you realize the seller is trying to fight it, dont bother with them. Just go through the ebay return process, include plenty of pictures, describe in detail and you’ll win easily.
Not sure if it was originally posted here, but does anyone remember the case of someone’s psa card getting lost during shipping, and then all of a sudden another ebay seller had the exact same slab and cert for sale, while the card was still being tracked. Did we ever find out what happened?
“Hey. No disrespect of course, but despite the BGS-9 grade, and despite your 84k 100% positive eBay feedback, and despite the fact that the auction is still ongoing for 12+ hours that I most likely won’t win, and despite you being one of the biggest names in the hobby and having graded and sold tens of thousands of cards in your life, and despite the surface BGS-9 subgrade, and despite the fact I’m an idiot, this will definitely grade a PSA-4 when cross-grading due to surface, so please give me a 340 USD ‘refund’.”
W t f… I seriously hope it’s just a troll, but it’s probably all too serious unfortunately. Ngl though, I kinda ‘like’ how he starts with “no disrespect” and then follows it with that, rofl.
“Smart” guy. It’s an auction. If this is how a buyer feels, then they could easily avoid bidding higher than what they perceive the card to be worth. All it does is cheat everyone else who was willing to bid just a bit less, and waste the seller’s time. I hope this works out for the best.
