I have some fake Hockey/baseball cards and they’re so well made, like absolutely flawless. Which is usually the dead giveaway, since the originals were never this nice.
The holo is what i think gives forgers a hard time, but as the price of base set goes up the forgeries will rise.
As for the Chinese fakes, they could care less making them authentic. They just want to mass produce them as quick as possible.

I saw this yesterday after a friend linked it to me, and didn’t take long to find the listing they copied it from lol.
Indeed i was at work and thought id check listings quickly, yeh after 30 seconds of google image search i found the original.
Fake card where the holo pattern actually looks right, slightly odd.
@joetehman I saw that one too, was slightly perplexed and worried if that foil is as accurate as it appears at first glance.
That actually would be cool to have if the holo were on point. Not $1500 cool though lol. It’s hard to tell by the pictures if it looks right.
The seller is from my hometown, I’m gonna contact them to see if they will let me see the card in person.
