So I just logged into my paypal to see a refund was given on the 10th which I thought was odd. I’m not mad about the money since it was only a little over $6, but I understand there can be punishments if you don’t resolve cases in time. I did some digging in my messages and did find a case was opened against me on march 4th and solved by ebay on the 10th. As far as I know, there should be a “bell” notification for cases, right? I didn’t get one and I just checked my email and nothing comes up there either. I don’t usually visit my inbox on ebay as anything important that needs attention is seen by the bell notification. What happens now?
eBay does not make it nearly as clear as they should when there are open cases. Generally, there is a bell, but it won’t actually show you what the notification is until you go into your seller dashboard and you’ll likely see “open request” on the sidebar.
I also wouldn’t worry too much about it. It’s just one case.

lol. Well I know that now. It’s pretty stupid that they don’t consistently notify cases by bell. I know that’s what happened with my first case. I have best offers on most of my listings, so my inbox clutters with junk pretty quickly.
