eBay buyer cancels

Just started selling some cards to clear inventory all modern. Anyways I just got the order ready they paid and then they want to cancel. I see eBay gives the option to not cancel. What happens if I do that?

More than likely, you’ll get a return request about 10 minutes after he receives the card.

Some buyers will return, some won’t. In my experience less actually return the item. But you never know for sure, each buyer is different.

May as well return it now than have to go through all the shipping chaos. Unless you want the buyer to shell out some money on shipping for going back on their word.

Thank y’all for the advice. I’ve been selling for about three weeks so far so good but I’ve ran into immaturity a bit as well

Cancel, avoid a return and negative feedback.

That’s exactly what I did I didn’t want that headache

What happens if the buyer returns the item using a non tracked shipping method and the seller says that the item hasn’t arrived? Since the buyer can’t prove that he shipped the item will ebay side with the seller or the buyer?

Just had this happen to me. Afterwards, they wanted to buy the card back (literally 10 minutes later)… I just ignored them.

You can’t ask for non tracked return.

Luckily I’ve never been in this situation, but the buyer has to use a tracked shipping method? I mean I wouldn’t ask that, but if the buyer uses, of his own idea, a non tracked method then if I don’t get the item back what happens?

He can’t. eBay will ask him to put tracking, he can’t skip that part.

Oki, but there are ways of shipping an item with a code that doesn’t serve as tracking, so even if he put that code it won’t be tracked, this was my doubt. Thanks for replying
