How this will work:
- cards are listed in chronological order based on first release
- each card will have a picture followed by the option to vote for it.
- vote for any card that you like.
- on Sunday at 12PM Pacific Time, the polls will automatically close. I will edit this post and title to count down from least to most voted, and we will see which cards are E4’s Favorite.
For this polling in particular, cards that were released in the same set will be pictured side-by-side, but each will still have its own option to select.
Results will be grouped together on this page, but I will give each their own top 10 in the archive

i just want to reiterate that each card has its own option to vote. I have a hard time believing so many more people prefer one of these over the other by this ratio. 
there is no third option to vote for the overall concept. if you like the pairing, vote for both. you couldn’t have the pair with just one

As an exclusively wotc and wotc adjacent collector, you may think i enjoy stock art as card art, but i absolutely hate it. SM Promos are my faves. I own them, and they are my babies. I love them.

I always appreciate an Arita but besides the Alto Mare pair to start with, the rest of his work for these 2 haven’t been very good. Maybe it’s just the Pokemon don’t match with his style? Unsure. I do like the chibi duo. Too bad the Latias wasn’t holo and both weren’t cosmos.

Normally I vote for everything I like, but in this case I feel so strongly that the VS cards are head and shoulders above everything else. As such I refuse to place additional votes. Sorry for limiting the data on several other good cards.

Alto Mare Latias has the same problem as Aquapolis Umbreon, everything is perfect except the face. The Latios is great though, probably the best card here.

The EX Dragon pair are not top tier art but they definitely look a LOT better as the holos we got. Didn’t even know about the ones that came afterwards with different artwork (like I needed anything else on my wants list 
)

I agree with this, i was surprised about how few votes i placed. Even a lot of the older ones look somewhat plain. The biggest strength they have definitely is the pairing that’s possible with their cards, alto mare’s original cards are the best example of this and can’t be topped, i don’t see a world existing where they aren’t placed at the absolute top in this voting

Surprised that even though I like Latios as a Pokemon more, Latias has far better cards.

i think one issue with these two is that there hasn’t been much innovation on their portrayal.
Latias ruffles its feathers and cries loudly when there is hostility toward it.
[Latias]'s glass-like, downy feathers can enfold its body and refract light, which allows it to become invisible or alter its appearance.
Latios has the ability to make others see an image of what it has seen or imagines in its head.
A highly intelligent Pokémon. By folding back [Latios]'s wings in flight, it can overtake jet planes.
I’d love to see some art where they’re shifting in and out of visibility
or maybe a character art of someone having some crazy vision with the one of the twins behind them, although this example would be way more difficult to portray lol. you could do it with their field of view having something completely different overlayed, placed by either Lati for example.
also, i know we’ve had some art of Latios seemingly flying fast, nothing feels like it is flying faster than a jet

Yet another Delta card that would’ve looked utterly sick with cosmos, it’s like Latios is inside the Stadium 2 Psywave animation.
