HERE’S NATU
Hello everyone! 
I wanted to share my work for this contest: I made Natu completely by hand using DAS clay. Afterwards, I also painted it entirely by hand, taking care of every little detail. I’m really very happy with the final result, and especially happy to be able to take part in this contest with all of you. It was a wonderful experience to bring to life a character I love with my own hands.Thank you for your attention, and good luck to all the participants!

Beautiful, I really like it. You captured Natu’s personality very well, it feels very expressive.
In two days, on the 15th (mid-month), anyone who has already chosen 3 Pokémon will be able to select more, up to a maximum of 3 additional ones. This way, anyone who wants to create more entries is completely free to do so, especially since we have 70 artworks to complete

Maybe this has already been asked and answered, but there is there any plan to print these custom cards after the submission ends? I think all these arts as well as the theme is quite beautiful, and would look great in a binder

I had thought about it, and in the end what I’ll try to put together will be a virtual binder. If all the artists agree I will also create a poster and anyone who wants to print the cards and put them into a binder would be totally free to do so and it would definitely be awesome! I’ll definitely try to do it myself eventually

I’m going away this week but excited to work on art when I get back (this past weekend I did some watercolour for another pokemon project!)
If nobody has signed up for it yet, can I also try to do Gastrodon? While looking through my old Hawaii photos for Vileplume inspo, I found something that could work for Gastrodon

Context and Lore : After the sacred connection between Celebi and Manaphy was broken, it seems like some parts of the Emerald Canopy became disconnected from both time and space. There were many Shiftry who managed to escape the area but some did not.
Those that stayed behind have seen to undergo changes. Their once white fur like mane is turning ever so slowly into faded ashen fur, almost like it is shedding and losing it’s form. If a Shiftry stays motionless for too long it can almost fuse and become a part of the redwood trees of the Emerald Canopy.
These Shiftry are not individual Pokemon but rather the manifestations of the forests memory. It does not pursue any intruders and never reveals itself fully. It merely waits and watches.
Pokedex Enteries:
Shiftry does not guide wandering travelers anymore. The Emerald Canopy does. Shiftry merely decides who the canopy chooses to keep.
Shiftry can use it’s appendages to summon strong gusts of winds. Some say wanderers who get caught in these winds first loose the sense of direction, then loose their sense of self
