Yesterday I got my Secret Santa gift in the mail! I filmed the opening because I thought it would be cool to share the joy of opening with my secret santa @Quuador, but later I realized I forgot to record the audio, doggonit! Instead Iโ€™ll share screenshots from the opening below. Opening your gift brought me wave after wave of joy because I felt that your selection of gifts and art really spoke to my collection goals and demonstrated careful stalking and consideration ๐Ÿ™‚ ## Waffles! ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/6/0/6002f631ac4f4a669cc2c7aebe7ea73d3765d764.jpeg) Stroop wafels with a little greek yogurt are a top 10 delicacy in my book! I donโ€™t think these lasted more than 24 hours ๐Ÿ˜‚ ## Right Up on The Fridge! ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/1/8/1827310973158f4f826935a205086b127bf4bda0.jpeg) ![rightuponthefridgeforeceryonetosee](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/f/0/f0b8a5dedcf5cb62791ead84fc29b9cac4dc9672.jpeg) I love the creativity that you put into this art! Treecko popping out of a present with a matching belly stripe ribbon looks so good! But the snowman weedle is the cherry on top ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ’‹ Itโ€™s funny because I remember responding to you talking about finishing your art piece in chat, never suspecting that I would be the lucky recipient! ## A Whole New World ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/1/e/1eb81369db47a4bd3332a17063302b7dcbd2a34f.jpeg) One of my favourite parts of collecting is finding new cards that I didnโ€™t know existed. This next gift scratches that sweetspot for me because I never saw this sealed set before! This is the first of two examples where I felt that you chose a gift that catered to both of our collecting interests; mine for trios and yours for pikachu collecting. This gift celebrates the Venn diagram where our interests overlap and that feels special. The same is true for this next gift ๐Ÿ‘‡ ## Two Worlds, One Family At first I saw that you gifted me a sealed copy of the Aoki error Moltres black star promo, and I said โ€œmakes sense, he loves this art.โ€ ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/8/8/88af08d0e279783772d1bf7e05572fcc8d9d72d4.jpeg) ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/4/6/46b49e9dfbe460b9fb69ec49ec9434963290aa8e.png) But then I noticed that you also included the zapdos and the articuno as well! Again I felt you bridge our interests as collectors, itโ€™s weird to say but after opening your gift, I feel closer to you and your collecting journey. These promos are deeply nostalgic to me and this gift checks a big trio off the list! โœ… ## Every Gift in This Package Tells a Story ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/a/e/aecb27090394130d4bef1f2e330b216750795ff6.jpeg) ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/c/9/c923b74d9f8b96a7f3845617bd28ec47d47e1264.jpeg) ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/7/9/792b153b01631923ad50a2d3edc138315e703c22.jpeg) ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/e/0/e0a0d27015899d8e741246f944e6d84d78d8f78d.jpeg) ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/9/1/9146efae8b1011ce03426ac999251ac3be610434.jpeg) This set of trios is another thoughtful connection. Earlier this year I posted two heracross and beautifly cards in the connecting arts thread and [you jumped in adding](https://www.elitefourum.com/t/gallery-of-cards-with-connected-artwork/49921/135) that many of the cards in that movie promo set are connecting arts. Including the johto starters and the creation trio promos. I love the way that chikorita is using their headleaf to slice a daikon bigger than themself. Another great gift, that really makes me want to watch the movie now! ## Meganium Prime 4 Anyone playing the new metroid? ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/2/8/281cbdbb980e1cf0fd79211b551dd8192e9f55cd.jpeg) ![2026-01-04-18-17-06-495](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/b/b/bb26dc6e3230de63281625dc879c260494930971.jpeg) I'm smiling as I type this because I love the pose in this meganium art so much. Now it's cozy next to my feraligatr prime that I graded myself. Just need to traack down the typhlosion to complete the trifecta! This is another very thoughtful throwback to the prime thread earlier this year, where I was one of the few people who admitted to enjoying the prime cards. You knocked it out of the park @Quuador! ## Signing Bonus ![image](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/9/f/9fb5d23fc20adf0f8897d8b1c0c8b7e2c1e15461.jpeg) A very merry xmas from a prolific pika and an excellent signature card. Thank you @Quuador for your fabulous gift. It made my day and I absolutely love it ๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŽ„ ## Santaโ€™s Smorgasbord ![card smorgasbord](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/1/b/1b328991107b4c2a952419ad8677fcf309ebeabd.jpeg) In addition to this great gift, I appreciate you for your generosity of information and spirit. For always sharing high quality posts and consistent kindness I award you the kipper token! Iโ€™m looking forward to another great year!๐ŸŽ‘โœจ ![kipper_token](https://efour.b-cdn.net/uploads/default/original/3X/2/1/216b46fd4aecb0f83fa79f70fbafc1dafa96016a.png) --- _[View the full topic](https://www.elitefourum.com/t/e4-secret-santa-2025-picture-thread/59034)._
