Im glad you liked it ViC! I was going with a theme for the reverse holos when picking the cards out. A more foresty theme with one of the artists, and for the other I tried to get different types of each card for the other artist. Also on the back of the unown engraving you can scan the engraved qr code and it will take you to the e4 homepage. I thought it would be a nice way to invite others quicker if youre ever out and meet someone who enjoys the hobby. (Also idk why surging is going nuts, but yw) Hope you had a great holiday!

Amidst all the holiday amazon/fedex gifts coming and going, I somehow lost track of all the boxes. Today I inspected a box that had been in my home for… almost 2 weeks now? I look closely… it says mrtz on it! Instantly I knew what it was!

Great gift man, much appreciated!

My Secret Santa arrived from USA today, a very thoughtful and fun package to open. Thank you so much @cooltrainertony for your gifts.
Tony did a great job finding gifts featuring some of my favourite Pokemon, the Volcarono in the cardsaver has many other cards of my favourites in it.
I love this Jynx and I think it looks fantastic in it’s CGC Perfect case.
This is my first ever Exeggutor plushie. I love it.
I am so glad that Tony included cutouts of all my my wives, his research is spot on too because he even knows I married Wicke twice(long story).
Curiously, there was a message on the back of the Jynx that is written in a language or script I cannot quite understand…guess we will never know.

I know you asked to have something from where you live included. I live about 45 minutes away from hershey PA where the candy is from! That was the only thing i could think of from my area besides coal

MY SECRET SANTA IS HERE!!! I just picked it up from my mailbox today and was happily surprised to see it so handsomely packaged!
I drove straight home to open it up and was delighted to find a bunch of well wrapped gifts.
I started with the card, and discovered my Secret Santa is @pfm!!
Look at those festive Pikachu.
We have some stickers of all the WOTC sets, including the box toppers, Best of Game cards, W stamp promos, and Southern Islands, which is super cool. I became a completionist set collector over time, so this is very me, and I’ve never gone the extra mile to make my sets look good, so this is really motivating.
Next up, I went for the small cylindrical wrapped item. It contained the greatest export of Canada, MAPLE SYRUP. I’m going to have to choose carefully what to use this on. This item will suffer from analysis paralysis due to fear of wasting it.
I went for the red wrapped gift next. What does Santa’s face have in store for me?
It’s a beautiful PSA 10 German Pikachu from the 2010 World Collection! I’m not sure if this is a reference by Scott to my German heritage, but I immediately took it as such. I’m still close enough with my German family to know second cousins and great aunts/uncles living there. Danke schön.
PS: I was there when Scott bought the yellow graded guards. He bought five, but the vendor accidentally gave him six. Scott immediately noticed and gave one back. Stand up guy.
Time for the thinner brown envelope. I find a card I’ve had my eyes on for years and search for constantly.
LEGEND MAKER MEW EX!!! Not the Celebrations reprint, but the REAL thing. I build old decks for fun and nostalgia, and Mew ex is a nightmare card because it’s in so many decks in 2006 and 2007. With this, I might finally be done looking for them. Now I know how Thanos felt at the end of Infinity War.
We’re not done yet! In the thicker brown envelope, I find three numbered smaller wrapped cards.
First up, we have the rarest Suicune card of all time. Alpha prototype presentation beta sprite omega mystery Suicune
In #2, we have what most people consider the most desirable prototype. The alpha playtest Suicune.
Finally, the beta prototype Suicune card. There are probably more copies of this kind than others, but I think it looks best. I’ve heard Sugimorori has 20 more copies in his back pocket, but they’ll never make it into the mainstream.
This is a crazy set that I am the sole owner of now (1 of 1 don’t even ask)
We’re down to our last gift. The big one. And it is a BIG one
NEW SMASH CONTROLLER! I have played with my SSB GameCube controllers for over 10 years now and they are wearing down. They survived college and all my roommates using them, my brothers and I playing them, and flying with them to play with @pfm, @swolepoke, @gengarbrigade, and others, and they’ve all developed some stick drift and the thumb pads are thoroughly worn down after thousands of hours of smash. This is such a great gift and this will go to great use.
This was an extraordinary Secret Santa and I can’t thank @pfm enough for how thoughtful every gift was. Well worth the wait!
PS: The return address on the box was @smpratte, so at first I thought that that Scott had me. When I opened the card, I was like “wait” and thought it was a super clever move on @pfm’s part.

This vintage post card featuring Suicune itself, this was a really really cool addition and I thank you for your thoughtfulness. Something I really wasn’t expecting but damn that art is amazing.
Two really nice umbreon slabs that will go into my umbreon collection :).
Some good ol protection, sleeved up the pulls that I got
The nice pulls going 3/3 on the twilight packs
And finally
Some good ol snacks. Never had a caramel koala or a twisties - the koala is a go, twisties idk too cheesy for my own good. The tim tams were nice and sweet.

Interesting that you found the twisties too cheesy, there are also chicken flavoured twisties that have some very die-hard fans (me). Maybe I should send chicken twisties in my next Secret Santa.

Received my Secret Santa from @lyleberr today!
Started off with a sweet note and great joke
I opened the package to some sweet goodies and some Pikachu/Kanto merch. I’ve never built LEGOs, so this will be a first for me!
Onto the cards! I’ve yet to get a Wailord poker card or Volt Tackle version, so this was perfect.
I also absolutely love the Prize Pack Series Wailord, so that was a nice addition. @lyleberr 's custom wax stamp is insane!!
Last but definitely not least, I was gifted an incredible needlepoint artwork of Wailord. I was absolutely stunned by this gift. This is an incredible piece and I know it probably took hours of work. Now my Wailord shelf/shrine is complete?
