Thanks so much for an amazing gift @vyzhr! I got some new artworks for my pikachu and celebi collections, the 90s skateboard is awesome and the togetic drawing is definitely gonna get framed. I got some much needed skyridge cards because my nonholo portion of that set is sorely lacking and the artworks from fukuyama are so good; theyre better than a lot of the holos from the set tbh. Lastly is a himeno postcard which I think is my favorite part of the gift. I’ve eyed up some of the 90s postcards before because they have some awesome art but never pulled the trigger so I’m really glad to finally have one.

I love seeing all the gift posts, each year’s E4 Secret Santa Picture thread is always one of the highlights of the year for the forum.

I am proud to announce that 100% of participants in this year’s Secret Santa have provided tracking information for their gift. Several gifts were slightly delayed due to circumstances outside the control of the senders, but as of now all gifts have been shipped. With international shipping, COVID delays, and supply chain issues, if you are still waiting it may take a bit before your gift arrives. Be patient, and if the gift hasn’t arrived by the end of January, let me know and I’ll look into the tracking info.

I also want to remind everyone, if you have received your gift, please make a post about it here in the thread. A quick picture and a write up goes a long way in thanking your Secret Santa for putting together a gift for you.

Finally got around to opening my secret Santa package over the weekend. Thank you very much for the packs @cosrob and bonus cards. Just been inactive in the hobby this past year so it was nice experiencing the joy of pack opening again! Got 3 hits and the gengar V was very nice! Also looks like some Pokémon got transformed into neo pets! O and finally awesome snorlax drawing

Here is the haul!

The cuties are just adorable

Everything included was really thoughtful! These big dinos are some of my fav species. The two raw cards are really clean and the Aggron was one of the reverse holos I still needed for my Legend Maker Reverse holo binder set and I’m glad to add yours to my collection. The lil plush duo will be sitting pretty in the background of my zoom meetings from now on too. Finally the Mint Armaldo really has it all. One of my fav species, from one of my fav EX era sets and featuring an always iconic EX era Arita masterpiece.

Seriously just such a generous and thoughtful gift - can’t say it enough. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!

Received my package today and just wow! Big thank you to the legend @pivot . This was one of the best Christmas gifts I’ve ever received!

The package included 4 wrapped presents, a signed Marill card and an amazing drawing of my favorite Pokemon. What is that written on the drawing?

Opened presents! Chocolate, celebrations boosters, mew cards, a mew plush! Great stuff! …wait is that a Game Boy game!?

Not any game! A custom made Game Boy Pokemon game: Mew version! Both the cartridge and the box are so cool. The game is a modified Pokemon Blue, with my favorites as starters (Mew, Ivysaur and Zapdos). Can’t wait to play it!

tl;dr: I received the best christmas present ever.

If you want details, here’s the full story:

First of all, give it up for this magnificent regional variant of my favorite Pokemon: Venusaur from the christmas island.

Let’s move on to the goodies:

On my SS wishlist, I mentioned that I’m about to start a Kusajima binder. I would’ve been very happy with 2-3 of his cards, but instead I got a friggin’ STACK of them! All the fine stuff, mostly from the early ex era. Too many to show individually, but here are a few:

This is a fantastic foundation to build my collection upon, thank you!!!

But it doesn’t stop there. In the wishlist I also casually mentioned that I like old sealed Japanese stuff. However I did NOT expect to get five (!) sealed Pokepark promos! This is a suuuuper interesting set, which I haven’t gotten around to pick up yet. But now I’m obviously obliged to finish what you started - oh, and did I mention there were 3 more cool sealed promos included (the one with only the back shown is Arceus 041/DPt-P, beautiful card!)?

And to top it all off, I got the PERFECT cards to quench my occasional thirst for uniquely weird stuff of all sorts:

Behold, the Mushiking TCG!

Haven’t researched it much yet, but it looks like a TCG based on brutal looking beetles in mid-2000 Japanese CGI aesthetic. I LOVE IT.

Lastly, here are the signed cards, so you all know who this hero of a Santa is. He even included the card he tested various pens on. A whole art piece in its own right, haha.

This quirky signature is the icing on the cake. Alongside the loooovely letter (which I don’t show) it really ties this whole wonderful gift together, man. It’s absolutely bursting with creativity, love for detail and thoughtfulness. Not in the least did I ever dream of a gift even close to this awesomeness. I feel like “thank you” isn’t quite sufficient, but for the lack of a better phrase:

@dizzylochs , you are the man! The Venusaur drawing is cosmic, absolutely cosmic. Kusajima and Pokepark cards look amazing as well. Always cool to get some interesting sealed stuff.

Package arrived a couple days ago but I promised my brother I’ll wait for him. We opened it today and I’m so happy with my gift

I actually discovered these statues (figures?) for the first time a month ago and wanted to buy them, they will definitely go on display when I eventually get one. The drawing is so cute with the goofy antlers and the electrode

You sent over Turkish delights that I didn’t even know were possible. We have a lot of Turkish delight here but I’ve never once seen pomegranate or pistachio ones xD I’m thrilled to give them a go. Also, the package came from the US so, just out of curiosity, Are you from Turkey or America?

I opened the tin and only got this Beldum but it’s adorable so I don’t mind.

Thank you @enigma for the entire gift I’m pretty sure I forgot to even mention the graded German Sandshrew you gave me which was the highlight of it all. Not sure if you got your gift yet (it’s not from me) but i hope it’s as good as the one you gave me :peepoHappyhug:

Big thanks to @octane for the Secret Santa gift, I was pleasantly surprised with what I received! Japanese Honcho Lv. 42 had a nice swirl on it and minty. I do enjoy Team rocket set and was very happy to have received so many of these 1st edition common cards that I may have sold in recent years. Lovely shuckle and not sure what the pokemon near holo next to it is (Pinchurkin?) Was also a wotc mew and articuno wotc promos that were included

So happy to hear you like Turkish delights I was born and raised in the US, but my father was born in Greece. His side of the family is of heavily Greek and Turkish descent, and around the time of the holidays I love to indulge in the candies and cookies of my heritage. I picked up the candies from a Turkish food market a few towns over from me! Happy new year my friend!

Everything you sent was appreciated–sleeves, PSA 9 rainbow rare!!, drifloon coin, an adorable book,minty holo Vaporeon cards-- but these were definitely the highlights;

-I had wanted this Vaporeon plush *every time* i went into Toys R Us back in the day but never pulled the trigger-- still torn if I want to keep it in the box forever or not.

-So happy to add another PSA drifloon card to my modest collection!!! They’re pretty scarce at any grade and I don’t have this one!

-The slabbed artwork is so creative, and definitely a Pop 1. And no, I will not be selling this even if I’m offered $200k*
(*…okay, maybe if I’m offered $200k)
