E4 Secret Santa 2021 [PICTURE THREAD]

I got a very awesome Secret Santa gift from @fourthstartcg in the mail!! Thank you so so much!

Starting off, I got a great drawing of Torchic on lovely snowy paper! Thank you so much! It’s adorable!

A signature card! Kusube is one of my favorite artists, so its exciting to add this to my collection of E4 signatures! I love this Paris art so much!

More birds!!! I’m trying to fill a full binder of Imakuni Doduo from Evolutions, so these will do very nicely for my hoard! Thank you so much!

Next up, I got this awesome poster featuring my favorite XY Set, Emerald Break/Roaring Skies! It features the cards from the set on one side.

And an image of the pack art from the XY Mega Pack, Rayquaza Mega Battle, on the back! I need to find a cool way to display this poster! I’ll probably display it on the Emerald Break side, since I really like looking at all the card together. It reminds me of my binder sets.

He also sent a blister featuring the legendary dogs/beasts/whatever we’re calling them these days. These are their cosmo variants variants, which I don’t have yet! Shoutout to Arita for that amazing Suicune art. I’m probably going to keep the blister sealed, since I really like how the product looks with all the dogs together.

A new card for my graded collection! I really like collecting cards with weird grades. This is a very fine addition to my collection, featuring one of my favorite Pokemon, Rayquaza! I don’t have a 4.5 yet, so this is a fun card to add to my 5.5s and PSA 2s! Subgrades too! Heck yeah. The holo pattern on this guy is super cool. Japanese ex cards are sooo nice.

Wait no. Scratch that.
Ex sucks.
Don’t buy.

And last but certainly not least, I got this amazing PSA 9 Deoxys ex! Wow!!! Thank you so so much for this card. I started collecting Pokemon cards during the ex era, so these cards will always be some of my favorites. For its English release, this Deoxys was printed in EX Emerald. I pulled this card wayyy back when Ex Emerald released. It was one of my favorite childhood ex cards, so having a PSA 9 copy of this card is really awesome.

Once again, thank you so so much for all of the amazing gifts. Also, thank you so much for putting up with all of our shenanigans on the forum and Discord, and thank you for helping keep E4 an awesome community to be a part of. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Tonight I was going through my mail and found my SS package, and man @bash2112 knocked it out of the park! First off thank you for wrapping everything! I had so much fun tearing into it all lol. First off he sent a bunch of holos with great art! Next, to my disbelief, I was greeted by both the tyranitars from VS series!!! I have looked at these cards and debated on picking up graded versions but decided against it due to the price. Thank you so much for including these! I also appreciate the dragonite and articuno, they look great as well. then, he included four fusion strike packs where I pulled a full art Shauna! Lastly, he included a great illustration of larvitar and a sig!

Everything will fit nicely inside of my binder! Thank you very much!!!

Yesterday I received a notice of arrival for package I don’t remember ordering and today was to time pick it up. Perfect timing right before Christmas.

Here is what the box contained, time to dig in deeper.

This gift was real joy to open ( mostly because it’s only one for me this Christmas, haven’t bought literally anything for myself and only spent minimal amount of money in small gifts to others ). 2 tins including some Sword & Shield era boosters, not just 1 but 2 awesome drawings and even 3 favourite Pokemons required in Secret Santa form made appearence. The stack of non holo Neo/Gym cards was really handy addition, lots of stuff I needed for binders.
Big thanks to @nevyn , I think you did awesome job!
It’s been really fun to view other gifts so far while leaving a like for them, keep them coming!

Hello E4,

It was a wonderful surprise in my mail the other day from @squirtle1000 - thank you so much! I had an amazing time unwrapping and opening all the packs! Even was lucky enough to get some nice pulls!

To the individual that I got - I’m a degenerate and just posted it today hopefully it gets to you by Christmas!

By the way, that Pokemon wrapping paper is from the 90s! When I was a kid my parents used that same wrapping paper for my gifts.
Surprisingly we still had the roll and there was just enough left on it, so I thought it would be fun to wrap your gifts with it.

I received this awesome gift from @gottaketchumall yesterday, thank you so much!! It had a ton of my favorite stuff and was an amazing experience to open!!

First, I got two fantastic PSA graded DP era holos. I’ve been trying to move more towards the Diamond and Pearl era in my collecting and both of these cards were ones I do not have in either Japanese or English, so they were perfect gifts!! The artwork on both is incredible. They are great additions to my collection!

Next up I got an Evolving Skies 3-pack blister (which I opened and got a Suicune V!!), some sweet Rayquaza coins, a Pikachu ornament, and a Charmander head PEZ dispenser. The ornament is now on the tree!

Last but not least, I got two awesome Rayquaza plushies (one is too big to fit in the pic so I can only show off its head) and arguably my favorite part of the gift, beautiful drawings of my favorite Pokemon from Dan and his kids!! Thank you again, this was so fun to open and I appreciate all the thought that went into it!

I absolutely loved your Smeargle drawing, it really made me smile and I loved that you included the first draft on the back lol. Made it very special. It went up on my lil art wall. Also Smeargle, Komiya…What’s not to love??

Also I’ve been trying to budget for art stuff, so I had not opened celebrations yet, so THANK YOU so much for giving me this amazing experience!!! I never knew I would love an English set this much. It realllly is something special. I ripped it and here are my pulls!!

It also helped that I pulled Venusaur, and my favorite from the set, the Kusube drawn Reshiram. Really reminds me of VS series Charizard.
Speaking of VS series I can now mark Cloyster off the list!!! Hoorray !!

Merry Christmas to my Secret Santa who provided some much needed Pokemon holiday cheer.

Zapdos is a top tier Pokemon. Anyone recognize the signature?

In one of the packages was a 3 pack blister with a cool Espeon promo. Another had a Celebrations Tin. My SS knows I like opening modern packs for fun.

Another package contained a terrarium from Japan. Very unique and a cool display piece that doesn’t take up much room.

The other pack contained an assortment of badass singles. Gyrados, Zapdos and some vintage Meowth. They already found a spot in my binder!

Here are my pulls. Stoked for that Venusaur, Luxray and Professor Full Art Trainer!

And here is the terrarium. Zapdos shooting out lightning from the clouds.
