E4 Pokémon VGC Tournament - Generation 8: Tournament Complete!

VGC 2021 Top 8 Cut & Little Cup

Hi VGC players, the final round of Swiss has concluded and the standings are in. I’m pleased to present to you our Top 8 finalists who will go on to compete for the Gen 8 VGC crown!

Final VGC 2021 Swiss Bracket

This was an insanely competitive bracket, with many previous Top 3 players not making it in. The race for 8th place was decided by the narrowest of margins, coming down to not the first, nor the second, but the third tiebreaker. Just goes to show how close the skill gap has become in these tournaments.

The following 8 players will compete for the crown:

@ddk vs @silversnorlax204
@JimTrainer vs @wisewailmer
@Caterqu vs @tstark20
@festa vs @banks

Seeding was done based on a player’s ranking after 4 rounds of Swiss. All matches are best of 3, single elimination.

There will be a tiebreak best of 3 match for 3rd place to determine who gets a finalist medal.

There is no deadline for matches but please play your sets in a timely manner.
