Also recently made a 3D Crystal Nidoking for a client. Challenging part was only having proxies and printed art to fall back on as there was no way I’d chop up legit Crystals lol
Wow thank you for the high praise!! Ill keep doing my best Its Froslass btw, Gen 4 female evolution of Snorunt. Its one of my fave pokemon! Love me some bokeh
Thanks so much! it means a lot.
Funny enough i’ve already finished my art for the contest! eagerly awaiting the submission period to start so I can share it!
I do! Been maybe 3 years, little less. I’m always learning more about using it. I find it intuitive to my style, and it gets me doing more art. I have some created brushes I love. I tend to like to use one brush so now have several that can do a wide variety of strokes depending on angle , pressure and such. They also allow me to get the same kind of texture as actual paint .
I decided tip my toes in to 3D since we don’t have enough of that in Art Competition. Messing couple hours in Nomad Sculpt and this is what came out, the most sickly looking Magikarp imaginable but one year from now things might be better
Make sure if you go ahead with that you utilize video game assets (at least incorporated into it or background) to qualify it as 3D vs original (being an originally designed sculpture)!
And if you commit don’t forget to change categories on the thread
@lyleberr Make a doughnut! Ha ha! This is what I’ve been working on to hone in my 3 D skills In Blender. I may still be able to salvage something by 2025!
