Does the 3D category HAVE to use assets from video games? Could I build my own 3D model for that category?

The point of that category is to use video game assets to create your own composition with it. If you are using your original creation, whether it is digital or physical, it is original category.
Looking back we could have been more explicit with 3D category name but we always liked the feel of it vs saying “video game category” or the like.
