It is a pleasure to see that we share the same Egyptian theme. I truly appreciate your concept and the choice of era for the Pokémon, as you have represented them exceptionally well!
Original category: Up Above
Made with color pencil.
Recreation category: Urasoe Pokelid

(Based on the Urasoe pokelid, obviously)

EDIT:
Titel: Do Koffings Dream of Steam Engines?
Clay, photographed at a train station
hallo again.
here is my second entry, this time in the 3D category. a little story to tell, my Wii would not cooperate.. so after several failed attempts, I decided to use the lack of functioning Wii to create the art. (another interruption)

Title: Nincada’s Song
Woah I had such a good time with this! Which can be rare, so I’m very glad the fugue god’s blessed me. Side note please forgive me for the strange monochrome. I’d like to imagine there’s some type of green light in the (theater?) happening but in reality sometimes I just work better with limitation, so used a very limited palette here. Now I’m gonna go admire everyone else’s. Woohoo!
So green, so perfect.
“Say Goodbye”
My Original category submission
Since this contest is in spooky month this year, I went the horror route. Watch as an unsuspecting trainer falls right into the clutches of a Cofagrigus! What a terrible fate.
Hi everyone!!!
It’s me … Oma …
I’d like to submit my entries for the E4 Art Contest 2026
All artworks were done by using multiple layers via Clip Studio Paint EX
Recreation:
Venonat (Vending Machine Series 3)
My art style is based on Sumiyoshi’s Kizuki Lineless art style … I’ve always wanted to recreate this artwork. So, I considered this contest is the perfect time to do it!!!
This card got reprinted in Pokémon Web … This is the card for comparison with artwork
Original:
Adventure Island
This illustration is based on Adventure Island in some way …
Rhydon reminds me to the Dinosaurs from Adventure Island series. I decided to put him with Aipom because of the colour palette. The predominant colour of background is purple.
Also, Aipom seems to have a happy personality, which is what I wanted to transmit: A happy illustration.
Background is based on the one from Skyridge Delibird
If you need a ZIP file that contains both illustrations, let me know ![]()

I was away on vacation and got sick a few days ago when I got home, so I am sorry for not posting up until now. I’ll aim to have my entries in on time ![]()

“Siegfried”
A recreation of the dragon spearing by Konrad Dielitz (1880), depicting the dragon slayer Siegfried from “The Ring of the Nibelung”. It’s an old tale from norse / germanic mythology, which inspired Richard Wagner to his opera by the same name. The scene depicts Siegfried stabbing the wyvern Fafnir, who hoards a cursed treasure. I always thought this depiction has a striking resemblance to Rayquza and since Lance is also referred to as “Siegfried” in the localisation I grew up with, it just felt right to recreate it.
I am not sure if I am able to make an original entry, but since the deadline isn’t that strict this time, I would still try.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to make the deadline this year, I had some things come up in recent weeks that didn’t allow me time to finish my piece. I’m looking forward to everyones entries and next years contest!
Seeing some seriously cool work here. Hoping I can join next year
My original for this year, “Griseous Orb”.
I tried not to make another Sinnoh piece, but.. well, maybe next year
As a kid, I got super lost in the Distortion World, and I wanted to recreate the feeling of the music and level design here for this one.
Bonus close ups:
This is my Keiji Kinebuchi-inspired Sableye! It’s a shame we never got to see any of his work post-2002, so I can only guess how it might’ve looked. Well, it might’ve looked a bit better than this; Keiji was a professional with Lightwave 3D… meanwhile, I’m still learning.
The name of this piece is “Keiji’s Sableye”.
Good luck, everyone!!
Love it! 3rd gen Fossil Ditto!
Easter Morning
Child Drawing Submission
Point of View: It’s Easter Sunday morning and Grandma wrapped an Easter basket with Pokemon Sapphire inside.
Here are my two entries for the art contest! ![]()
I chose to recreate osare’s Zubat from Shrouded Fable! I used acrylic and gouache paints. The Zubat is made out of a toilet paper roll (and will be turned into a Halloween garland with other bat pokemon lol).
For my second entry, I made Pumpkaboo in a pumpkin field! I used gouache, a few acrylic paints, and then pastels for the field.
Neither of these were my original plan but I started and finished them both this afternoon lol so I’m still happy with the results. I liked having this year’s contest be a little later so I could get into the autumn/halloween spirit with my crafts! I don’t have a lot of experience with gouache and pastels, despite having them for a while now, so it was fun to play around with them.
Thanks again for hosting. ![]()

“Lunch” - gouache on paper
Second upload with a proper hi-res scan and minor color adjustments with the extra 12 hrs.
Also, wanted to say a quick thank you to @brendantheclayboy and @azulryu for running this event. Two years in a row this has pushed me to get back in touch with making, and that is invaluable, so thanks again!
Everyone’s work looks fantastic!
We’re just not gonna be able to take care of anything tonight so if you are still needing to submit please do and just try to get it in by tomorrow morn. Will aim to get everything squared and publish ballot by sometime tomorrow. Will then adjust that due date by week from then.
