Honestly, not even surprised at this point
It looks like if you have an active subscription to Pokémon Bank then transporter will still work, I just tested mine and it was successful. Thank goodness because otherwise my Ribbon Master Challenge would have come to a very abrupt and unsatisfying end.

My competitive VGC career started and ended with Pokemon X, guess those pokemon are living there forever now?
You can still transfer from X → Bank → Home so no you should be fine.

Don’t have 3DS with me right now, but someone on Twitter reported that if you can’t use Poké Transporter because your Pokémon Bank pass is expired, try starting up Pokémon Bank again and save at least once there, and the blocker in Poké Transporter will be removed. Perhaps you can give it a try.

The issue has been resolved, Transporter works fine now! Friendly reminder this shiny method exists in crystal with boosted odds!

Very happy this got fixed! I thought I had a current bank subscription, but when I checked yesterday I didn’t and was very crestfallen that I couldn’t use transporter. Such a relief to see the tweet this morning about the bug being fixed.
