I do not use sticky tabs.
I just make sure the penny sleeve has enough free space at the top so that this free space can be used to pull the card out of the CardSaver.

Personally don’t do it, but will probably try it for one of these next submissions.
I cut off the side of the card saver. I believe PSA doesnt use the sticky tabs anways
Sorry man. Wtf though You said you wouldnt tell anyone
I use these, although they’ve been cheaper in the past.

Sticky tab gang for sure
800 for only $10 on Amazon

My first submission I had tagged the cards. Over time I noticed I would unconsciously take out cards from the semi-rigids the same way whether or not they had the tabs so I just stopped using them when I realized that.
This poll should be, who binge watched @gemmintpokemon videos when getting back into the hobby and who didn’t.
Accurate. @gemmintpokemon schooled me to the submission game and I’ve been blindly tabbing cards since.
I appreciate the 3rd voting option for us pleberonis

But does it come with a highlighter?
Jk. This is a solid deal. I used to pay less than $5/per for 200 (4x50).
PSA graders or the people taking the cards out of the card savers are surely masters of removing cards, with the amount they do per day they don’t need help with tabs.
i just like the pretty colors
I don’t use the tabs. If they saved time or made it easier Id think that PSA would tell us. It probably just adds time on the end of the person submitting.
People don’t realize how much longer and more time it takes to pull each card out of a top loader…on causes delays.
It’s not time manageable or as profitable for them to do it like that. I’ve heard they use a machine to cut them out, but haven’t seen any real evidence to prove that theory…
.
either way, I wished “machines” would grade the cards better. Maybe we’d see more consistency across the board.
It here is there guideline on how they request them to be sent…

This is how I’ve always been. I have 200 or so post it tabs I bought over a year ago because I e never used them over time.
I have never submitted, but I voted tabs because I have prepared cards in the way you would when submitting. After reading what seems to be a pretty unanimous opinion from all the OG graders (both in this thread and many other places), I guess I might remove the tabs before shipping.
That being said, even if they are of no use to the graders, the tabs have certainly been very helpful to me. I’ve used Ultra Pro toploaders exclusively the last 10 years, my first meeting with a Cardsaver was a few weeks ago. I have rough calluses on most of my fingertips so I try to avoid touching cards with them as much as possible. My technique is shit, I get terrible OCD over how much bend I have to put into the Cardsaver to get my XL sausage fingers in there to pull the sleeve out.
The only cards I’ve transferred into Card Savers so far are expensive ones. It’s nice to have training wheels for now, I’ll have to practice with cheaper cards.
I do use them, but only for my own ease when double and triple checking submissions. I doubt it makes a huge difference to PSA.
I do use tabs, but I will add the qualifier that you need to make sure that the tab extends beyond the top of the semi-rigid. That probably sounds obvious, but when using the shorter tabs I have a tendency to stick them too low down on the sleeve.
