Do US Buyers have to pay customs as well ?

Hey , so whenever i buy stuff from the US that exceed a value of 22 euro i have to pay customs. Someone told me that for example if someone would buy a product for like 300 dollars from someone who lives in Europe , the US customer doesnt have to pay customs costs at all. I’m not looking at marking down value on the package. Is there like some sort of free trade in the US ?

There have been a few threads on this. One extremely recently. We do not have to pay customs. The U.S. is a GREAT place to live and collect! No need to “make us great again” at all really. IMO, we have been great all along.
