Exactly. They’ll spend $3500 for a weekend at Disney and do it again 6 months later.

I love Disney. I am sure to love Lorcana.
But as others mentioned, I am dreading the sTonKEr and get-rich-quick crowds that are sure to follow. I just want to enjoy my cards in peace.

Has there been any information on distribution for hobby shops (like how they are selecting who gets product)? I’d love for my LGS to be able to get this at some point so there are less stonkers to fight off, haha.

I haven’t heard anything yet. Cardnallgaming (and even Rudy) have been talking about Lorcana some recently. I’d keep an eye out for videos on their channel. I know that Mason has said he is definitely wanting to carry some Lorcana, but theres a lot of unknowns still.
Side note: The people making Lorcana (Ravensburger) haven’t done any TCGs before, so some LGS aren’t quite sure how they will manage things like shipping, preorders, prerelease events, organized play, saturation of product, restocks, etc.
