Damaged Slab Options

Hi all,

I have a slab I purchased a while ago for cheap that I recently damaged. I decided to clean the slab with Plasx and it ended up going between the tiny gaps on the back. I read online that this could happen to old slabs and to use a piece of paper to remove it, unfortunately the piece of paper got stuck in between the slab. I then proceeded to make multiple very dumb attempts to get it out including goo-gon and heat, there is now damage to the side of the slab. Cracking and regrading is out of the question since the card was overgraded (PSA 9 old cert pop 164). Would PSA reslab this card or would they consider this tampering/damage? If I sold this card on ebay would it pass authentication if I disclosed the damage thoroughly? Iā€™m curious to hear what you guys would do if you had this card.

Im pretty sure if you just reached out to PSA, and told them what happened you could use their reholder service to get your card in a newer, cleaner slab if you want. Thats what I would do at least if it bothered me enough.

This. I would send for reholder. If they think it is damaged they will tell you
