New shining cards are here; picked up a Lugia and a Rayquaza. Really cool look to these, moreso the Lugia; Rayquaza’s doesn’t pop the same as Lugia’s. Texturing is very similar to these Ultimate Rare Yu-Gi-Oh cards I grabbed for a good price.

I’ll continue to update this as I get more stuff; got some LV. X’s and some more old Japanese ex’s, but not going to clutter this right now. Thanks for looking.

Finally did it. Found a shadowless Charizard that appeared to be in better shape than the price indicated and went for it. Nothing quite like this card (besides the 1st edition version) and I’m happy to have completed all three shadowless starters! Venusaur is a 6.5/10 because of marking and scratches and Blastoise has seen better days but I paid $20 and $4 respectively, so no complaints. (Bonus points if you can guess what I paid for the Zard!)

Clean looking Zard!

I say $125

If you paid less than $100 I’ll get salty. Very salty.

Thanks for sharing your collection! Just grabbed a NM Ruby & Sapphire Sceptile after seeing your pics. I agree, art is great. I’m not even collecting any cards from that set but I had to have it!

I need to stop browsing people’s collection threads and focus on my own goals haha

Nice update! BTW what Junior team are you playing for? Nice to see another hockey player on the site!

$75 USD  Wish I had bought a few more but couldn’t be sure if the condition was the same as a the photo. Now, the other ones they had for sale are gone; no doubt will see them on eBay soon lol.

Hard not to get inspired, we’re all here for the same reason!

Thanks, and likewise! I noticed you were also a hockey player from one of your videos; our two hobbies are worlds apart, eh.

I’ve played for a few Jr. teams in BC and Ontario, but it’s a bit of a rat race. Money and connections help.

Ah you live in Canada, aka were juniors is pro level! I can understand the pressure. The brother of a player on my mens league team was recently called up to the NHL. Played a few games and was sent back down to the A. I can’t imagine the pressure being in that position, constantly competing for a spot. Then again, playing a few games in the NHL might be worth it.

Jr here is pretty competitive but I’m a world away from pro hockey haha. I’ve had the chance to play against NHLers and it’s a little scary what they can do. All roads lead to mens league, though!
