crimp down the middle of my packs?

Hey Everyone,

I recently bought 12 D&P Base packs, and when they arrived all 12 had a crimp going down the middle of the pack (example of what im talking about shown below)

Is this something to worry about, or is this normal? I’ve never seen this on a pack before, and want to make sure this isn’t a sign of the packs being tampered before I lose my ability to return them .

Thanks in advance for any help!

I’ve seen that before. Didn’t hurt the cards.

Probably just where the roll was connected/extended or attached to the core.

Nothing unusual there. That’s a common feature of DP era packs.

I’ve never seen that before either. Thanks for sharing!

@lapraslaughing, @garyis2000, @rattlebear Thanks so much for the reassurance and help! This was my first time buying sealed product from this era so I had no idea it was a common occurrence

Good buy, I think I saw that ebay auction and considered pulling the trigger as well. You keeping them sealed or planning to open?

Thanks! I was originally going to keep them sealed, but I actually might open a few. This set has the first english Munchlax, and there has never been a PSA 10 example of the non-holo or reverse holo. I ended up only spending about $8 per pack, so I think its worth taking the gamble and opening a few!

That’s cheaper than the modern Hidden Fates are selling for on ebay right now! haha. Those are listed for like $10/pack. Good deal.
