The $11k I spent on cards (9,6k; 1k; 300) in the last 12 months is now worth nearly 40k (30k, 5k, 2k).
The cards I did NOT end up buying (roughly 20k) are now worth 100k+.

what is it about being a new participant in the space and declaring that low pop cards will never have more copies? I see it so frequently, newer collectors confidently stating that [insert low pop wotc / mid era card] will never get more 10s.
I get vintage is harder to grade now but really?

I doubt he’s being literal although the phrasing is rather modified. “There will never be more” sounds IG-sexier than “this card might increase in pop from 21 to 25 or maybe even 37 over the next 40 years but that doesn’t change the bottom line that my $651K purchase is special and clever.”
