I know this is going to seem a bit annoying, so please only do this if you’re bored.
So my girlfriend keeps asking me how much she thinks my collection would be worth (lol) and I’d like to be able to give her a rough ball park. I’ve gone through this myself and priced it out but I’d like a second opinion and like I said a rough range would be fine (as I know alot of these cards would need detailed photos). I don’t intend to sell just curious. Most cards are in exc, some being better some worse
My own estimate would be ~~5k in AUD
Zard page – shadowless 400, blaines 200, shining 450 (has a crease on the back but is a perfect binder card on the front), reverse skyridge 250? its MP-HP condition, ex 10, crystal guardians 40 (has some creasing), rainbow zard -350 (seller listed as nm-mint but had some whitening on the back), power keepers 50, Japanese ex 70, Lance’s zard 70, CD promo 80, neo promo 40 — total 2010
Base set — 700? the zard is maybe like a psa 5-7
Jungle set ---- 300
Fossil set ---- 350
Rocket set ---- 500
WOTC promos — 300
Shining legends — 120
Banned Japanese cards — 100? they aren’t in the best condition
What all the single cards are worth combined, compared to what you would get when you sold the whole collection to a business would likely differ - if the combined value is around 5k, you probably won’t lie when you say you could get around 3k if you sold the whole thing right now.
if she will never know, a kind lie doesn’t hurt anyone. if it’s more for yourself, you would’ve spent the time already. i don’t really think you care that much how much is worth yet…lol
At first everytime I mentioned how much a card or my collection is worth my fiance would day you should sell them. I had to explain its pointless to sell now. And I showed her the ins and outs of the hobby. Now she knows the styles of cards and Pokemon names and everything. And no longer hounds me to sell
