Hi All! Just wanted to give my experience with CollectInsure. Some background, I’ve used USPS and other mail insurance before and it’s been always a fight to win a claim if something gets lost. On this forum I saw others have a CollectInsure policy so I gave it a shot. Two years later and I had to file my first claim, a ~1200$ modern booster box case I sold that was lost in transit. This was sold over tcgplayer so I had clear proof of the transaction and refund to the buyer. Once I filed the claim, I got an email asking for images and other info. I kid you not, less than an hour later I got a reply saying my check was on its way. A couple days later I received it and was able to cash out. I HIGHLY recommend Collectinsure especially over any insurance through mailing services. I pay 100$ a year to protect 15K in collectibles which includes shipped packages. Definitely read the coverage as the policy is different depending on if you add signature confirmation and different carriers have different max payouts. Just wanted to share as I think ppl were wondering if they pay out. They definetly do and quickly!
Did they tell you that your premium will go higher next year? I’ve used CI for years now but thankfully haven’t needed to use it
Thanks for sharing! I’ve heard great things about them from a few people now. I’ve had CollectInsure for a few years now but thankfully haven’t had to use it. Glad to know it’s worth it.
I use CollectInsure as well. And supposedly the entirety of BGS does too.
I use them as well, but havent filed a claim yet. Good to know they ask for images, I was thinking tracking number was enough. Means ill start taking pics of the package before shipping it off.

Definitely do. The only way you’ll know how to ship properly to stay insured
