As you could probably guess by the title, I’m currently a college student at the real USC (University of South Carolina) and this is where I’m going to start documenting my collection as well as my goals. Just a quick bio, I’m a 20 year old male and my other passions/collections outside of Pokemon include “vintage” video games and disc golf. I started collecting Pokemon cards when I was probably 5 or 6 and have been doing it off and on since then, but about a year and a half ago is when I started taking it more seriously.
There’s no real focus when it comes to my collection since I’m more of an impulse buyer, but I’m hoping this thread will help with that. What I can tell you for sure is that if its got great artwork then I probably want it in my collection no matter the set, although the bulk of my collection is HGSS and prior. The first set I completed was base set and upon completion I couldn’t wait to fill more binders. Most of my collection revolves around PSA graded things and binder sets, the only cards I keep in card savers or the universally hated toploaders are cards I believe are worth grading so get prepared for a lot of binder pictures haha.
