What a fun project!

Just as a bit of info for your (impressive) breakdown list, ISA Grading isn’t a UK company. Not sure who they are, but they look US based, judging by the website address?

I use Ace Grading for my alt arts to display, so I’d recommend trying to get a Caterpie done with the “ace label” that matches the card art, when you get around to them, otherwise you could end up with the boring standard black/white label, and Caterpie deserves better!

There’s a new CGS established in Japan but I don’t think you can grade with them (yet?).

Regular graded card collectors will definitely want to avoid grading with this company as it screams danger in all aspects:

  1. The company is owned by Trust Hub, the company known as Clove and notoriously famous in Japan for its online mystery packs and causing the market hype in June. Most people would check grading companies’ associations with auction houses for market manipulation schemes, and now we have a grading company who owns both an auction house and a developed online mystery pack business.
  2. They apply the same tiered service charging as PSA based on market prices, but didn’t mention how they plan to compensate for damaging the cards in their service agreement.
  3. They once strictened their grading standards after taking grading submissions.

The reason you can’t grade with them right now is that they only take ultra-modern Japanese cards (SM or after) and thus won’t take your Caterpie.
