Decided to create a thread to collect the 3 pokemon the make up Team Rockets crew in the XY collection and the TRUE BUG TYPES (open to interpretation.) Very excited to start this journey, and you guys can help me out with spreadsheets, finds, and other stuff.

NOTE: unlike LAST time, I actually have money to be doing this, and its gonna be updated on my OWN time.

Sorry if i’m assuming things but just saying that i have money and i have money to be doing this aren’t the same thing. Ofc i don’t know anything specific about your financial situation but it went relatively fast from i don’t have money right now to i have money to start this collection, so just a reminder that there are other aspects in life that should be taken care of before starting any big card projects. It’s easy to forget when there’s shiny cardboard to hoard and i think a lot of us have been there or know the feeling. Nothing wrong with buying some cards tho if more important aspects in life are secured but thought i’d mention it

decided to change this to caterpie, diglett, and XY team rocket pokemon, as the bug type would be too complicated lol

started out with about 12 caterpie cards, as shown here:

Where are you buying from? Just be sure if buying cheap cards to not buy just 1 card from 1 seller. Use tcgplayer cart optimizer, for example

I mostly just used the store credit I had from trollandtoad to get these ones (another story for another time), but I’m looking to switch to tcgplayer after I use all of my credits
