People cant be spending thousands on trophy cards, shinings, no rarites ect. THE BW ultra rares had a good sytem, and so did the gold stars. Every body loves them, and alot of people have them. Theres nothing wrong with that. I actually kind of have a mixed relationship with card rarity. On one hand, the challenge and joy of obtaining a hard to get card (like that infernal Gotta! Mew) is great. On the other hand, my wallet weeps. And I also remember how frustrated and agitated I was when I was searching for that specific card, or other cards. So I guess what I’m trying to say is this: There’s enough hard to get cards out there already. I’m happy to get some cards that are easier. ---

Just because I don’t share the exact same opinion and view of it as you doesn’t mean I’m making it all about me. Ignorant. Selfish… The only reason you are thinking these are oversaturated is because times have changed compared to when the old shinings existed. Through time the hobby expanded and grew. No one benefits from making a card more scarce. No one except those who only give a fuck about the $$$. ---

Actually, the entire tcg benefits from making some cards more scarce than others. This is because a collector or even a player will know they can buy certain cards for their decks and/or their collections without it plummeting. Making them feel it is a safe use of their money, overprinting can ruin a tcg. Look what force of will and lately magic has been doing. Anyway, theres a YouTube channel that talks about this a lot more called alphainvestmemts, he explains it with magic cards mostly however. ---

There are already higher rarity tiers that have been introduced this block. ---

Then they should’ve made them the highest tier rarity and harder to pull. In my opinion of course. 😌 ---
