I have a picture on deck. I can’t get imgur to work nor has other conversion sites I tried been successful. Frustrating
I realize the momentum of this post is lost by now but I will still post my collection if I figure out a way - would love the feedback

Imgur has been acting funny on my phone. I believe I used a different site to upload last time. Do a google search of image upload. I eventually just started doing YouTube videos

I love the banned artworks dude! Haunter is also nice. I could do without the Zards, but to each their own 
Since you’ve already peeked into exclusive Japanese art, there is a whole universe of other interesting cards for you to discover if you decide to stay the course

$1000 isnt too bad for what you got. Others have spent more on items that have retraced harder. If you plan on continuing in the hobby, it helps to have a final goal in mind.

If haunter is your favourite Pokemon then why not focus on collecting all the different artworks from the different sets? Would be a rather unique and relatively cheap way to start and if you enjoy that you could move on to the evolutions like gengar etc.
Keep your head up. You really could have done worse. And I love the banned artwork cards too. Those are very popular and tell a great story of the history of the hobby

I’d say it’s all decent cards to be honest. I’m after the misty and koga and Sabrina and haven’t pulled the trigger on any of them.

I second this–being a species collector myself, I find it really satisfying, cool to display, and it gives you a pretty straightforward goal with a clear (yet flexible) endpoint. Once you collect all of the artworks, you can either choose to stop there or start getting higher quality/graded copies.
Fortunately, Haunter cards are typically not very expensive and to my knowledge, you already have the two (most?) expensive versions.
