Can’t help you, but want to let you know that posting to Brazil and from Brazil can give a lot of headache for both parties. Would recommend a Courier Company and full insured if the value justifies.

Ahh okay, I’ll be going to Brazil in March so hopefully I can figure something out without having to have it be shipped internationally. For future reference, can I have packages shipped to some kind of post office, etc. in a foreign country where I can pick it up when I travel there?

I don’t know if you can, I would believe so… but you can also have it shipped to the hotel where you are staying and mention it on the check in counter that you are expecting something. For sure they will be more than willing to help you out.
I have checked the Brazilian Post office website and you have this option called “SEDEX Hoje”… They stated that you have the delivery guaranteed within the country on the same day of postage, so even if you are staying in a place for a couple of days, you can work it out.
You also have an option called “SEDEX Pagamento na Entrega”… That will allow you to pay on delivery, if failed, you will have to go to the post office to get it.
For sure the person who is helping you out with the cards can explain better, since they live there, but there options
