How appropriate that Donald Our honorable president, who professes to love small government and feigns a desire to “make America great again,” has shown his true colors by coming out in favor of providing Big Brother an insidious backdoor into the private lives of millions of Americans.
Bravo to Apple CEO Tim Cook for taking a bold stance against totalitarianism and protecting your customers from the invisible government’s prying eyes. Your bravery will go down in the annals of history and the fight for civil liberties.
I was surprised when I heard that sociopath say that on the radio, but you gotta realise there is a hidden agenda here, though its great that he said this… It was the right thing to do, but The NSA and stupid spy forces will find a way lol. Its funnt though, because apple has had built in spyware in there products lol, and they are only okay if it’s them spying on you xD
Well I didnt know that… But like I said it was the right thing to do, makes sense that snowden would praise apple for this one particular thing… But do you really believe tim cook did this for the goodness of humanity? I don’t think so. There has been alot of complaining from apples spyware in there macs, but windows 10 spyware is so bad as well… so alot of companies are turning this data thingy into a hoarding complex, not just apple. First one to suck up all the data wins. Theres a good book on the data thingy called - Data and Goliath.
I believe Tim Cook for the very reasons he states in the letter: Because it was the right thing to do.
As for this supposed “Apple spyware,” the ones who are complaining are the ones who get their “facts” from government-owned news agencies. Which is ironic, because conspiracy theorists profess not to trust anything the government tells them.
It’s quite the Catch-22 these folks find themselves in.
This is one of my favorite articles in response to this whole scenario. It is also completely true that traditionalist hiring methods in the US drastically reduce the government’s capacity to accomplish such tasks.
Its not just complaining though, alot of tech companies do this now, apple has built in keylogging on there products, where do you think the backdoor is coming from the first place… But governments want to crawl in to your bed at night and lick your ear. It shouldn’t be there to begin with. How about lenovo, lol… Anyone want some spyware laptops, then get some of dem lenovo.
See they will use this shooting thingy to get this done, and all for the sake of the evil plan to spy on you all muhahahahahahahahahhaha
Theres probably this big press thing, like making apple look like saints, and den its going to happen anyway… Its like apple approached by the powers that be… Hey apple we need to spy on the world… Tim cook: Yeah, sure! but you gotta make me look good first, and we can do the things later.
Gotta love the FBI, always doing good for the people of america.
A beginning to end for america and APPLES PROFITS! and there lies the truth. Apples timcook: like hmmm America? Profits? I’m going to have to make a choice? hmmmm How about the old Deceptics… That has worked for me in the past and it will work for me now… I just need to decieve everyone and act like I am standing up for the customers.
Deception - Been saving sociopathic Ceo’s for decades.
As I understand it, the warrant is for only one phone? If so, then youd think the apple dudes could get the info asked for by the court without sacrificing the privacy of my phone.
The backdoor isn’t “coming from” anywhere. The backdoor does not exist. That’s why the FBI has asked Apple to create one. (If it existed, this never would have become a public matter.)
Yes, that’s correct: The warrant is only for one phone. However, if Apple creates that single backdoor for that single phone, it has no choice but to poke a hole in the security of millions of phones.
To put it in Pokemon terms, it would be as if WOTC had printed a single Pre-Release Raichu and gave it to the FBI, but left the printing plates attached to the press so anyone with a bit of gumption could walk in and press the “start” button.
Yeah what I said about where back door comes from didnt really make sense lol. but i ment like, it sucks that these things can be a a thing, and gonna be an every day whatever for everyone… Like people now are like… Hmmm ya cut off my toe, but its alright im cool ill live with that toe being cut off because thats the way it is… Soon its gonna be like hmmm you cut off my leg, but thats cool because thats the way it is. We cant let dem spy on us. Slowly slowly, there cutting more limbs off guys… THERE CUTTING OFF MORE LIMBS. and were getting more numb to it and accepting the things. … If that makes sense.
We can pretty much count on the billionaires and billionaire corporations like Apple to get their way. Now other billionaire corporations like Google and Facebook are voicing their support for Tim Cook and Apple. These guys and companies are showing anti government and capitalism at its best.
I was just watching this catching up on my vids from these guys and they had an interesting video, which I knew they would cover because thats what they do for a living and thought you might be interested @japanime
