What would you pay for 22 unweighed 1st Ed. Team Rocket Boosters.
Well, on eBay you can buy unweighted packs for about 80-90 dollars (but who knows if they are legit unweighted). If you can guarantee they are unweighted maybe like 90 a pack. So, 1980 for 22.

If people are selling “unweighed” for $80 and you believe your 22 boosters would actually contain holos, you’d probably make more money weighing and then selling as light vs heavy packs.
I always assume unweighed on eBay = light pack. I’d say about $90 per pack is probably fair though. You can try to get them down to $1,800 maybe. There are 6 team rocket 1st ed booster box auctions on eBay as well that are all ending within the next week so you may find a better deal there if the market gets exhausted although one auction is already at 3.6k and another at 3.85k. Some of the boxes are pretty beat up though.
I’ve seen that listing on Virbank. He claims they are unweighed, bought from a local collector as unweighed. Impossible to tell if they are truly unweighed or not since he’s not the original box owner.

I think it’s a huge risk to list “unweighed”, especially 22 packs. That number doesn’t provide consumer confidence. Majority of listings with a similar number are people who opened all the Holos and are dumping the light packs. Not saying that is what you did, but that is how buyers will perceive the listing.
The best solution is to weigh each pack and show the weight.

Say it’s about $80 for light and $125 for a heavy pack on eBay. 2/3 of packs are light (although in this case you have only 22 packs which isn’t divisible by 3) so that would put the average cost of a legit unweighed pack at about (80+80+125)/3 = $95 but that’s also before eBay fees so really about $85. So basically if you’re going to sell as light and heavy on eBay you need to get it cheaper than $85 per pack or $1,870 total for it to be worth your time. If you plan to sell via paypal or simply hold the packs then that’s a different story. This is also based on the huge assumption that they’re actually legit unweighed packs.

Well I bought the lot and opened three packs and they contained an absolutely perfect, easy 10, HOLO Dark Gyarados. A non holo Rare. Lastly, a Dark Magneton HOLO probable 9.
So it looks like these packs are loaded so I don’t have to worry about selling them.
