Beware the US-Canada Tariffs

AFAIK that was only for items related to the USMCA, mostly as a way to give automakers an extra month to somehow move their entire manufacturing process to 100% domestic

Canada didn’t back off because the US didn’t fully stand down

Just brutal :skull:, this is why I’ve left literally $1000s of cards at PWCC/Fanatics Vault and am yet to export them. Maybe some day, but not any time soon

Might be hard to find one given the current geopolitical climate, but if you can find a trusted US-based middleman for purchases made in the States it will be lifechanging.

This all makes sense to me. It’s funny tho, I don’t remember being taught what tariffs and import fees were or how they worked in school… Tho, out of curiosity, I do educate myself from sources that count when I don’t know something.
Lots of useless knowledge crammed in my cranium…

I’ve definitely not been buying from EU and CA (and JP since IDK if by the time it arrives, I’ll have to pay an additional X%) because of the tariffs.

I’m glad our signature exchange is not commerce.

I am having my Festa Pikachu come in from Ireland. I don’t think there are any terrifs on Ireland goods, but we are doing a test with shipping. A $200 slab before he ships the 8K slab lol. I will update you all on how it goes

Will it be the same for US buyers purchasing from Canada or just Canada to US?

I thought it was already established that tariffs on goods from CA were being imposed within about a month, by the current US admin.

Aren’t these the same thing?

Well… I really wasn’t expecting this haha

Refunded for my tariff charge from the CBSA customs department.

I take back everything bad I’ve ever said about Canada customs… Naw… That’s not true.

How did you get a refund?

Canadians are so nice that they give refunds on tariffs. :open_mouth:

There are customs dispute forms you can fill out and mail to certain offices along with your waybill.

Has anybody here had any problems recently buying from Canada to the US? I have a potential 3k deal I’ve been scared to bite the bullet on.

I haven’t been buying high value items from the states. I do have luck getting 10-30$ cards through without tariffs, but I would not be doing a 3k deal unless an additional 25% would still be ok value wise.
