Base Set 2 Value

Hey Everyone,

I was curious what everyone thinks a full Base Set 2 PSA 10 is valued at? all 130/130… Could this be a valuable thing to collect?

Well, Base2 it’s pretty hard to grade so It would be a remarkable effort, and definitely a cool way to collect a different flavor of base set. So, yes it would be somewhat valuable to collect, but the value would mostly be in the psa10 label of the holos (aka conditional rarity).

In the end, do it only if you really like Base2, since it’s pretty much despised (or overlooked) by the majority of collectors.

If you buy Base 2, you will never really be far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like, in my opinion. It has Pikachu and Charizard, so when the set decided even further more appear to behind up market instead, it wouldn’t but go either for here.

Hello and welcome to the community! There are many tools available to look up prices of individual cards (raw and graded) and full sets. I recommend doing some background research first.

The holos are the most difficult WOTC set to grade in a PSA 10 on a % basis. Do it for the love of the game, not for future value or demand

I wonder if that has something to do with blue core paper

@dblast is that you?

Hi its me. Base set 2 is the worst set of all time ever. My inner child won’t let this go. I’ll never own a single base set 2 card except for the W stamp wartortle, and thats it.
