How can you tell? I have bought my cards from retailer
energy symbols are off, font is wrong, holo is wrong, it is numbered X/102 which is base set, base set 2 would have X/130 and as you said, they never made a base set 2 machamp

I swear every fake card seems to have a spelling mistake on it. Easy way to tell other than fonts/colours.
If you get it graded by PSA, I’ll pay 500 dollars for it? 
Although, some legit cards also have spelling mistakes, so it’s not totally sufficient 
That is true but most fakes are questionable in the first place and it just sort of confirms it alot of the time.
