@brendantheclayboy, thanks! They can get pretty pricey, especially if you want all the contents + good condition. I think I got this for around $300, but I can sell the Red version inside to offset the price a little bit since I already own the cartridge.

On the left is what I got myself for Christmas, on the right is what my girlfriend got me for Christmas. Super happy with both and they look oh so nice displayed next to each other.

Who’s the girl in the anime/manga?
@alicia, The girl’s name is Green. The card specifically is Green’s Exploration. The only time I’ve seen her character is in the Pokemon Adventures manga.

Looks like the card says her name is Blue. Green is the name of the figure on the card in the middle.
Anyways, I have to say that you have some nice boxed games and cards in your collection here! I collect some of the games, too. Any interest in the Japanese versions?
I should have mentioned that was the English name of the card. The middle character is actually known as Green in Japan since Red and Green versions came out first. We got Red and Blue first in North America so we ended up calling him Blue.

I don’t really have any interest in the Japanese games yet since I won’t be able to play the game and understand any of the text lol I know they’re super inexpensive compared to the English counterparts so I might get them someday for completions sake.

That’s true. Have you read much of the manga series?
Yeah, the Japanese games are usually cheaper, and they have such great box art. Maybe just getting unique Japanese releases would be more worthwhile. I’ve always loved the art for the first Japanese Stadium game.
I read the first 7 volumes of Adventures, I had fun reading it but I don’t see myself rereading it any time soon.
I think I would get the Japanese games that have alternate art like Stadium. After getting all the mainline games I’d like to focus on getting Japanese cards
