Gotta disagree on Lapras. It was a guaranteed Pokémon in gen 1 and most every kid I knew used him as a surfer. Kind of hard to forget a Pokémon that was in 80% of everyone’s party growing up.

Lapras can never be forgotten plus it’s many people’s favorite to this day for example:
Salamanca is also still a fan favorite, my guys and I were just talking about this guy the other day. It’s hard to forget such a majestic dragon especially if you remember how badass and powerful Lance’s Salamanca was in HG/SS:

As for forgotten Pokemon in my opinion, KABUTOPS & OMASTAR need more love in the TCG. Imagine a new crazy ass FOSSIL SET; KABUTOPS AND OMASTAR SIR’s

Yes agreed, I think gen 3 undoubtably has to be either spoink or grumpig, they don’t get any love 
Really surprised I didnt see something like Lanturn, Pineco, etc for gen 2. Ash uses Heracross alot, so I kind of didnt consider it forgotten overall.

I agree with you on Lapras. It was even the surfing sprite in Gold and Silver as well as a riding pokemon in Sun and Moon
I would say Skarmory and Slugma are good examples because a lot of people forget or just don’t know that they’re gen 2 Pokemon

Skarmory in particular was indeed very cool once. A metal bird with reddish wings that was almost impossible to obtain.

I’m mostly into competitive pokemon rather than collecting so most of these are still not that forgettable for me. Gotta gree with azelf and golisopod though. They went into shadows slowly…

Seriously when is the last time you EV trained and fought really hard with one? I like the way it looks but in the end it’s mostly a dex filler.
for me its togepi. misty’s most memorable pokemon in the anime, amazing design, i think it couldve been the premier “cute pokemon” in the TCG but there just havent been many cards at all for any of the pokemon in its line. even cleffa has an AR (an amazing one) but not togepi. it has a decent tag team card but thats it. free my lil humpty dumpty
