Hello all! Finally got around to making a collection thread since I have recently thinned the herd. I will update this thread as cards come/go. At this point in my collecting journey I mainly focus on Japanese Prize/Promos. I like the hunt.
I love my trophies of course, but I do have two random seeming cards that I like a lot. First is this FA Giratina:
My girlfriend pulled this card in 2017, we had been dating for about 3 months and this came out of the very first pack she opened. We are now married, this card won’t ever leave the collection 
The second is “The Cursed Toad”:
This card came out of the very first batch of cards I ever graded in 2015ish. I was flipping graded cards heavily back then, nobody ever wanted this guy! I ran a giveaway on IG where someone actually won this, I shipped it out and the address the buyer gave wasn’t valid. It got returned by the USPS. I then auctioned it on eBay, it sold for like $7. Buyer never paid! I then mailed it as a joke to a friend of mine in the IG Pokemon community, he had it for like 6 months and ended up sneaking it into another friend of ours deal with me. I laughed so hard when I opened it up and had the card back. I named it Cursed Toad because I now feel like I am forever stuck with this card.
