Anyone here familiar with TGA Grading? I have been seeing their ads pop up lately and a few reviews but not sure if they are new or what. Anyone in here tried them yet? How was the service on your end?
Just another irrelevant company who add no value to anything they grade, like all the others that popped up since the 'vid who are trying to capitalize on people’s disillusionment with PSA’s price increases and turn-around times.
IMO, the real money is with anyone who comes up with a FOUR letter grading company. Now that would be innovation.
I mean, CCIC exists, so…
Watch this space!

You could replace “TGA” with any other meaningless three letter acronym and the answer would not change.
I dont really see a point in using them. The fact you have to ask about them kinda presents the picture. Just use psa or cgc frankly.
I use PGS in Germany and I know they don’t add value to the cards like Beckett, PSA, or CGC. But I am not interested in that. I like the relatively short turnaround times, the inland shipping, and the fact I could drive to their headquarters any time I wanted. So, under this premise, small grading companies also have their place in our hobby, even if they don’t have the databases, the quality control, or the value enhancement like the big players. Without knowing TGA, you should grade with them if you are okay with their pricing, their standards, and most importantly: the look and feel of your slabs for your personal collection.
thank you
I also use PGS and I had no issue selling the cards for market price either. Places like efour and Reddit are pretty US centric, though. So no point in arguing.
I usually recommend to go with whatever company you feel most comfortable with. There are a lot of factors to consider besides resale-value.
JOSH grading when?
yah.. its just for my personal collection, and I see they have a fast turnover like in 3 weeks and others need to send back the cards about two months more. also their slab looks good to me.
thanks for helping me with the confusion
