Anyone else into Flesh&Blood TCG?

Who has heard about the FaB hype, and are you playing/collecting it yourself?
I was myself relatively late to the party, entering in august this year. This is the first TCG i’m actually playing and i’m finding it very fun, and have already clocked in north of 20 tournaments/events including the swedish national championship!
I’ve also started collecting and investing and I find it interesting that the Alpha boxes already has risen to $5k after 18 months but I think thats just the beginning.
I feel the alpha stuff being comparable to pokemon’s 1st ed base and I wouln’t be surprised if it keeps skyrocketing in the future, as long as the game doesn’t crash and burn.

What are your thoughts on Flesh$Blood?

I am more of a collector. I have the cold foil, rainbow foil, and non-foil versions of adult Prism. I am looking to buy Eye of Ophidia and Full Art Fyendal’s Spring Tunic for the art too. For sealed products, I have only bought 1st Edition Tales of Aria booster box because it looks nice.

Nice! I have the cold foil eye of ophidia. The artwork of that is really something else.
Have you played aswell or are you just collecting?

Yeah Eye is super dope. I am more into collecting, but I have played a few games using Prism pre-constructed blitz deck. I like the idea of focusing the deck around one’s favorite hero like MTG Commander or RPG game.

I have been collecting F&B for about a year now. I have really enjoyed opening boxes and collecting thus far. The artworks are incredible, even on common cards. I like the concept of having 1 extremely rare chase card in each set being the fabled card. The cold foils are really cool looking as well. I am a big LOTR/GoT nerd and I get that kind of feel from this game through the artwork. They even got Mark Poole who worked on a lot of early MTG I believe to illustrate cards from their most recent set. I think the TCG will do well both and continue to prosper for game-play and collecting as there seems to be a decent audience for each aspect.

agreed. the gameplay really simulates two heroes battling and grow weary as the fight goes on which i think is super cool!

I wish I started the same time as you, I bet you could get all the CF fables and legendarys for a fraction of todays price?
Speaking of LOTR, I happen to be a huge fan aswell and have been hopping LSS would release a dwarf and elven class in the upcoming sets.

Unfortunately even at this point CF fables were already in the thousands and I wasn’t prepared to spend that much for 1 card on such a new game. I did get a few rainbow foil fables for quite cheap compared to what they are today as well as some Legendary foils. I’m excited for BGS to open some lower tiers so I can get them graded
