I gotta be honest, I had pretty low hopes for the Pokemon theme ever since it was revealed it wasn’t minifig scale.
But I could never quite have predicted it would be Squirtle on a go-kart shooting water guns at a flaming burger level bad.

Am I the only one who really dislikes the aesthetic of these PkMn Lego sets? It’s like they’re not lego-ey enough or something… IDK.

These feel like legos. And there are some great designs here!
Keep in mind these new Pokemon Lego sets are all focused and designed around their smart play functionality. So essentially meant to be actually played with physically. They are of course ugly and not meant as display.
We already know they are coming out with more pokemon lego sets that are more design theme based(displays like LOTR, One Piece) so just need to be more patient for those sets to come.

Damn! Bricks and mini figs is brazen enough to go after a 3rd party?! I mean, I was not sure what to think of this whole mess before, but them involving a party that not even a player in this thing, screams greed and/or frenzied fraud like no other. In-san-ity.

Wow I feel like B&M are speedrunning the greatest way to destroy your own business. Instead of just paying 200k and admit they are wrong, they are taking it so personal against this youtuber and ruining a $400m company.
Its like doubling down and down over and over when you are in the wrong and know it, in hopes of making the little guy go away with legal threats. Do they not realize by doing all this they are just going to stoke the fire even more.
Sad thing is I have a feeling in the end they will settle out of court or something and it will all be forgotten in a year and the business keeps staying afloat. I dont ever wish a company would die but Im making an exception in this case.
TL;DR:
brick and minifig broke a consignment agreement and scammed a collector and his elderly dad out of $200,000 USD in lego @wisewailmer @DarthEevee
