That is VERY impressive. Qay better than the sets they made. Probly would have been cost and scalper-prohibitive too… maybe?
Is there such a thing as “scalper-prohibitive” pricing?

Further proof that Lugia’s hand-wings are disgusting, and that Ho-Oh is the superior legendary.

Great family bonding time!
Did you hang it? How heavy is that thing? :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

I didn’t, too scared for it to fall  it’s indeed quite heavy but i found a good spot on a shelf where it goes very well with the wall colour and got a lego bonsai tree to display with. Had to use some blue tack tho to keep it there so not the safest thing, also keeping it clean from all the dust will be pain :skull:

Looks like we are getting the pokemon minfigures afterall and its not just limited to largescale sets like MEGA!

I have an electric blower that I use frequently to blow off all my models and such. Dusting the traditional way is impossible. Everything catches and pulls on the lego pieces.

I might have to consider that as i do have multiple lego to display! A lot of them in the display cabinets but it doesn’t block all the dust, but that bonsai tree + sunflower combo is horrible regarding dust

Looks like the winner may be made into a set (hopefully Slifer)

Those are all five pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.

I hope the Pokémon ones will end up this good as well once that contest reaches its conclusion in 2026: LEGO Pokémon contest.

What a fitting subthread

I’m actually a huge Lego collector lol

If anyone is looking for trades (Pokemon cards for Lego), I’d be pretty open, as I my Lego collection has grown too large and I currently focus on growing my Pokemon collection

Wow, some incredible choices there.

I think Exodia, Slifer and the battle scene (not the one on the puzzle) would all be purchases for me (which is high praise given I’m pretty much done with Lego for space reasons).

The exodia one has some really cool design parts, like the leg being on the card and the other emerging from it. Definitely a purchase for me.

My personal favorite was “Exodia and Card Set” by Big Turtle, but to be honest being able to pick up any official LEGO Yu Gi Oh! set is amazing.

Need to procure some replacements for the frayed 9V cables, but I’m really looking forward to start building LEGO 8480 Space Shuttle. One of only 5 sets produced between 1996 and 1998 using the fibre optic cables. I’ve already confirmed and they’re in perfect working order. Basically the dream set I never got as a kid.

Does anyone happen to know which of these got the most votes?
If it’s my vote, I’d honestly be more excited for this than anything “Lego” in recent years…
Looks like the exodia set got the most engagement… hmm. It’s very creative. :brain:
