There are 7 language variants of the Fossil set. Each has a 1st Edition and Unlimited release, and English has a third Australian print run for the non-holo cards (distinguished by the 1999–2000 copyright).
There are a further 4 Prerelease cards, taking the total to 48 core variants in general circulation.

Then there’s the grail — the WotC Aerodactyl Cosmos Holo. The most elusive Fossil-era variant, rarely seen and seldom offered publicly. Securing one would represent the true crown of the collection, so if you ever see a copy surface, I would greatly appreciate a lead.
I’m also interested in errors and miscuts. While I’m not building a complete error master set, I actively look for examples that complement the collection — particularly repeated production errors and cards with recognised PSA qualifiers (MC, OC, PD etc). If you have any you’d be willing to part with, please get in touch.
