Ok, here’s one for all the psychic Pokemon here on E4…

Which card will be:

  1. harder to acquire, and
  2. more expensive to acquire (more valuable) in 5-10 years:

Base Set Shadowless Charizard - BGS 9.5

-OR-
Base Set Unlimited Charizard - PSA 10?
3) And which one would YOU rather have?

Or even a PSa 7 1st edition option. Or shit even PSa 5 or 6. I’d want lower grade 1st edition. Second choice is shadowless. Last is unlimited even tho I went budget unlimited myself. But mine is a near mint ungraded I got for $60. Or even better with same money I bet you could get a 1st edition Shining Zard which are way more scare.

I would definitely go with the shadowless zard. The 9.5 should definitely be harder to acquire as the BGS pop report only shows 29 copies in existence, while there are hundreds of PSA 10 unlimited copies. As I’m sure you know, shadowless cards were printed on a much smaller scale than unlimited, so there will always be more of a demand for the shadowless copy. While the 10 unlimited is going for record prices (crazy hype imo), I definitely think the 9.5 would be a solid investment for 5-10 years in the future.

Pffffft, I wish! I’m 100% with you on that one and would take a PSA 7-8 1st edition zard in a heartbeat over the other options.
