A Comparison of PSA 8 Charizards - Pack Fresh vs Who Knows

The burden of proof is on the individual making the claim. Statements like this are inherently “bunk” until you provide some evidence.

I touched on PSA conspiracies in a video. The best remedy to conspiracies is understanding PSA’s product volume. Majority of their product is not pokemon. Baseball alone has product from the late 1800’s until now. Hockey from early 1900’s until now. Other sports started in the 40-50’s until now. There is memorabilia for those years on top of that (sports and non-sports). There is the entire coin department. Then other non sports cards, which vintage started in the 1940-50’s as well. Also, some single sports items cost more to authenticate and/or grade than entire 100 Pokemon card orders.

Moreover, most Pokemon senders primarily use the bulk service. I highly doubt a 25 year old business whose main clientele are not pokemon collectors are going to grade one card harsher so they can get another $7 per card bulk order. They probably aren’t going to call the guy authenticating the Babe Ruth items ($300 minimum rate per item) to manically come over and tell the graders the $7-$18 rate charizard should be an 8 instead of a 10.
