I got everything but the ETBs, about 5 or 6 hours in the queue and kicked out multiple times ![]()

I know komiya “technically” did another Pikachu card, but I’m excited for the first 100% Komiya pikachu card.
Holo effect on the subset Pikachus,
@banks @wisewailmer by what measure doth the assembled faithful congregation weigh this curious display?
These look great! I am bummed it’s not a textured finish though, and is only the holofoil producing that effect.
Paul
Same, no art specific texture on the pikas is such a bad miss
“With this guaranteed 1 per pack in the JP/Asia sets”
I thought this was the case for the US set too? Do the 30 Pikachus have a different pull rate in English?
Yep

Some observations from the video on their page:
Pack order: 3x commons, rare slot, pikachu slot, energy
Sample size 10 pull rate: 1 in 10 classic, 1 in 5 for illustration rareObv not enough data to mean much. Even with 80% conf intervals it’s like 1 in 2 to 12 for IR and 1 in 4 to 33 for classic with this low of sample size. But likely IRs will be same as previous few sets
Just so I have my (Psy)ducks in a row here, the only cards not listed above but have the 30th stamp (or some variation) are:
- The nine First Partner starters
- Pikachu TEF 051 Pokemon Day
- Bulbasaur MEG 001 Pokemon Day
Gonna start a new binder that include all of these and don’t wanna miss em. Thanks!
There’s also Mew in day and Hisuian Zoroark, Toxtricity, Lucario, Jangmo-o in night.
Potentially Jirachi and Mewtwo in night as well.
Small correction: you’ve swapped the Volbeat and Illumise cameos in the Day/Night versions. Day has Volbeat, Night has Illumise.
Greetz,

Based on a now-removed video on Reddit,

here were the cards from the video (aside from classic metagross and ir maushold where the set number is known already). some were very difficult to see from the video so i added ?? marks on those:

- ninetales — 010/128 (common) - fire
- victini — 013/128 (common) - fire

other notes from openings:
- confirmed zero uncommon rarity cards and every energy is holo
- order is 3 common, rare slot, pikachu slot, holo energy
- classic collection hit is in slot 3 of 4 (ignoring slot 5 and 6 as pika + energy). This mimics celebrations
- illustration rate hit is in the 3rd slot as well. unlike celebrations where the v/vmax pikas/oak/mew were in slot 4 and could get a double hit pack
- double rare is in slot 4 (expected). nothing known SIR or FUR yet but I assume they will be in slots 3 and 4 respectively
I’ve never even see the original pikachu sleeping at the beach card. What’s that one called? Or is this brand new art that isnt just a reprint?
None of these are reprints, only a few of them are reimagined illustrations of past cards by the same artist
damn. I’ve done my best not to buy any modern cards outside of the stamp promos and such but some of these are gonna have to be guilty buys for me even if they’re printed into dust
each player shuffles his or her hand into his or her deck. then each player draws a card for each of his or her remaining prize cards
close enough, welcome back iono
