I thought the amount of SIRs on eBay this morning was unusually high. Good to see a generous pull rate on those. Also nice to see the Pika sunset has equal rates. Kinda meaningless to include pull rates for the RGB Mews when only one was pulled in the sample.

The drastic reduction of Classic Collection pull rates from 25th to 30th anniversary sets is so shitty.
The 1 in 2.5 hit rate really made Celebrations one of the few sets in the last 10 years that actually felt fun to open, rather than just a slog.

25th’s Celebrations set didn’t have any IR/SIR so that’s probably what made up for it. These pullrates also feel similar to Japanese or Traditional Chinese so far, which is incredible for not having a booster box

Its probably just because these are digital images, but man do these look like dog water. Super pixelated actually just 2 colors and faking shading with really bad dithering that was clearly just some option done in like photoshop and not hand dithered. I’d rather just have the art be normal instead of this over-baked photoshop filter gimmick. I’m always glad when the ugliest and least inspired cards are the rarest. It balances out the potential prices for completing the set. Just like how gold item cards are usually quite cheap while being the hardest pull rate cards.
The rest of the set looks pretty good though guys so I’m NOT being a negative nancy. I’m NOT, and I’ll beat up ANYONE WHO IMPLIES OR EXPLIES OTHERWISE!!!

Well, they are at least all the advertised pull rate not like 25th’s 3 tier bullshit.

The cards have a white border outline and a R/G/B border outline. The white outline is centred and the R/G/B border outline is slightly deviated from it. But tbh, I’m not sure which one the graders will pick lol

I’m not complaining at all. However I’m really shocked at how cheap the chases are already in Japan given the set is less than 12 hours old.
I know the set is being heavily printed and pull rates are amazing but I’m baffled as to how cheap they are and they’ll only get cheaper as the weeks go on.
How is a SAR gengar card sub €40 already? I just can’t get my head around these prices and they seem too good to be true

After the massive reprint in late 2023, the most expensive SAR in VSTAR Universe was $25 (Charizard VSTAR). And bear in mind those boxes guaranteed 1 of its 34 SARs, 30th Celebration guarantees 1 from only 10
IMO the box opening experience is middling between VSTAR Universe and PokéKyun, the latter where you can nearly complete the set with 1 box

I changed my shift today but in Berlin nothing was delivered in the morning. With my luck these days everything is sold out when I can hit the store again… 
JP is so much cheaper than english, will most likely buy JP for my collection.

The Duo Flagshipstore got products, but was sold out in 40-50 minutes.
I wonder if the supply for EU is really low at the moment. Seems that most of the shops here in Finland are expecting supply sometime next week if even then. One smaller shop updated their site to say that “We will get them sometime this year.”
Apparently in UK the PC ETBs got delayed for mid to late November according to the product info, all tho the preorder estimated release date still states mid September but as no payments have been taken, it’s starting to look like the November is more likely.

Ill probably buy some when they reach 1/4 of that price. Maybe wait a little more. Im just happy cards are becoming affordable for everyone again.
