# 2023 World's TCG Last Chance Qualifiers

Silly question, but a person from my lgs says that pokemon runs a mini tournament before worlds to let people play for a spot in worlds. Is this a thing for the tcg? I’d love to play in it if so, Im not expecting to place or anything but I imagine it would be a fun experience anyways.

usually a LCQ would be if the number of participants is low and they’re trying to increase attendance. its been a while since that was an issue.
