L0gan isn’t on the same level as Guru. I feel like e4 just readily accepted him into the hobby because it made everyone a ton of money. Cards that were worth $300-$400 became $1500-$2000 in short order, of course everybody is cool with that. Keep in mind that this is the same guy who used a tazer on dead animals. Faked his own gruesome murder to a bunch of children. Filmed a video with a dude that had hanged himself, laughed about it. He is substantially worse than collectibles guru. Guru just wants to flex and fails miserably.

I think he is going to do a box opening every now and again, I don’t think he will open every single one he bought though.

I thought the first one was also on a Sunday?

I just double checked. It was oct 9, which appears to be a Friday. I guess that’s usually a tough night for tv too

Just got a message from amateur boxer lol that the second char pulled got a 10 and I’m in the running for it:)
Where would you put the price?

The guy from the auction house predicted $750k right? A definite improvement on Guru but I cant help but think that expert seat should have been someone like Scott

Personally I reckon $420K

Fair market might be $400k and I hope you get it brother… but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a very hefty boxer premium. Up around the 6s wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Well knowing that Zard is already at 390k USD on an auction, I think it could be worth significantly more then a standard zard, also to note, it is the only ever 1st Edition PSA 10 Zard Pulled out of Paul’s box breaks, technically it is a POP 1.

Considering how much his NFT’s sold for I think the premium could be quite hefty.

I thought in the stream they said 600-800?

Am I the only one that would actually be put off by the special label? If I’m buying a PSA 10 1st Ed Base Charizards it’s because it’s a PSA 10 1st Ed Base Charizard, nothing else. If I had a straight choice between two identical cards I’d choose the one with a regular label.

The 2nd one pulled got a 10? On the front the first one pulled looked a bit better. Did the first one get a 9 then?

Same, but I’m assuming it could be re-slabbed without the pedigree label? Or you could just crack and resub, but that would be risky lol.

I personally see no reason for any of the cards pulled during this break to fetch a premium based on the label. I don’t doubt that people will overpay for them, but to me this is a perfect time to reiterate “buy the card not the label”. If the Charizard, or any other cards from the break are pristine/very strong 10s then I would expect their prices to reflect that.

With collectibles, especially vintage, the story behind the item is something that’s commonly highly valued. I’d be surprised if these pedigrees didn’t come at a premium.

You [speaking as a general “you” re: e4 members] personally may not be a diehard Lohgan fan, but most people have at least one celebrity they admire enough to pay a premium for a card they pulled. Would I want to pay 20% more for a charizard pulled by Mr. Paul? Not really. Would I be willing to pay a slight premium for a Chansey pulled by Rihanna? Hell yeah!

Just think of someone you are a fan of and would be willing to pay a premium for a card they owned or pulled – maybe a sports star, maybe Ken Sugimori, maybe a politician, maybe an actor – and acknowledge that Lohgan has millions of fans who feel the way about him the same way you do about your chosen celebrity, regardless of that seeming incomprehensible to you.

And if you’re reading this and thinking pfft pathetic, celebrity culture, I’d never pay a premium for anyone’s card, then good for you, here’s your medal, now let people enjoy things.
